On ABC News' "This Week" on Sunday, California Gov. Gray Davis dismissed criticism from "The Governator" by saying:
"Until he sits in those shoes -- and I don't think he's going to have a chance to -- he's really in no position to criticize what we've done," the governor said.
I shall attempt to follow Davis' new aforementioned rule by not criticizing his lame attempts to defend himself against valid charges that he's been an utter failure as the No. 1 politico in California -- after all, I've not "sat" in "those" shoes.
Has Davis been reading too much "Mother Goose"?
