Can we drop the "chickenhawk" canard now?

This just moved over the wires, but I can't find it available on the Internet yet, retired Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf has come out for a pre-emptive U.S. strike on Iraq. Speaking at a banking conference in Phoenix, the general is quoted as saying: "Saddam Hussein is a monster. There is no question about it. ... I support the president 100 percent. I think his message was extraordinarily clear."

So much for the argument that the only ones in favor of going to war are those who haven't served in the military.
