The pro-abortion media

There shouldn't have been any doubt about where the major media is camped on the abortion issue, but for doubters Brent Baker over at Newsbusters has transcripts of the NBC and ABC reports on the Supreme Court's ruling upholding the ban on partial-birth abortion.

Remember that a solid majority of the American public favors a ban on the procedure in question, but you probably couldn't tell that from the coverage.

  1. You missed the most hilarious part of this story:

When the US Supreme Court votes 5-4 to get rid of something liberals hate, the media calls it "a landmark ruling." When the US Supreme Court votes 5-4 to get rid of something liberals like, the media says that "a very divided court held today..."

And notice this: when slavery and segregation were overruled, that is a good thing, even if it undid 150+ years of "precedent." When 30+ years of decisions are overruled, the media wonders: "why did the court undo thirty years of precedent? Didn't Justice Roberts say he would honor precedent?"

Since we have to honor precedent, we have to get rid of all those pesky laws which were once upheld by the court, because precedent can only be undone when liberals don't like the original ruling.

Just so you ought to know.
