It's predictable, but the media is now reporting that the Virginia Tech mass murderer was picked on in school.
Long before he boiled over, Virginia Tech gunman Cho Seung-Hui was pushed around and laughed at as a schoolboy in suburban Washington because of his shyness and the strange, mumbly way he talked, former classmates say.
I guess I must be one of the few journalists in the world who wasn't immensly popular in high school. This sort of treatment is the norm. Most kids are on the receiving end of being "picked on" at some point in their lives.
This doesn't explain anything. This doesn't mean anything.
Millions of kids are picked on...and 99.99999% of them don't go on shooting rampages.
