Don Luskin points us to a David Cay Johnston article on how putting $50,000 in a Roth IRA in 2010 can turn into $41 million over Madeline's lifetime.
Of course, Johnston isn't really excited about Maddie the multimillionare -- he's mad that the government isn't going to get to tax that money. That is, until Maddie spends it.

Maddie may not have to pay taxes, but the money might be worthless, if the national debt continues to climb at the current rate. Real conservatives strive for a balanced budget. If Maddie had $41 million, maybe she should contribute to maintaining this great country. At that time we may still need money to finance Iraqi reconstruction.
