Don't forget Gino Torretta!

More proof that ESPN's Lee "Don't forget Gino Torretta" Corso is a complete and total moron. Corso threw a major fit while being interviewed by a couple of sports radio guys in Dallas earlier this week. (Audio is here.)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Corso's nickname as I have given him above: In 1992, when SDSU's Marshall Faulk led the nation with 1,630 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns against eight-man fronts week after week, commentator Corso week after week touted the Heisman candidacy of Gino Torretta. Torretta was a middlin' quarterback on a great team. Faulk was the best college football player in the nation in 1992 and Torretta wasn't even the best player on his own team. But Corso continued to tout his "abilities" week after week.

Faulk will enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame; Torretta is a footnote; Corso is an idiot.
