I would also like to note that one of the right-wing letters is from the Heritage Foundation in answer to a Paul Krugman column. When the Times' editorialists or a columnist singles out an individual or organization, it is common for them to publish a response. This is a good thing. But the fact that this more commonly used by Republicans or conservative organizations demonstrates how liberal the editorial pages are.
