After the Holocaust, the cry from human rights activists was "never again." Never again would the world dwadle while genocide and mass murder on a massive scale went on anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately, that vow over the past 60 years has been predictably useless. In Rwanda, the world did nothing as hundreds of thousands were systematically killed and maimed. In Cambodia, the Khmer Rouge's killing fields resulted in uncounted people killed.

And in Iraq, they've found mass graves filled with children.

Shocked investigators reported finding "thighbones the size of matchsticks" at what they believe is the site of one of Saddam Hussein's atrocities. Among the findings-were the skeletons of unborn babies and toddlers clutching toys.

A baby had been shot in the back of its head and was found still being clutched by its mother, who had been shot in the face.

Today, in Iraq, this sort of thing no longer goes on, but the "human rights activists" decry the American, British and other coalition forces that made the "never again" pledge come true.

Why? Because it took a war to stop the mass murder and civilians have been unintentionally killed.

Human rights activists prefer to talk, because actually doing something can be difficult, and often costs lives. Instead of applauding what the coalition has done, they decry it.

Iraq is better off with Saddam Hussien in jail and Uday and Qusay six feet under. The Democrat Party would do well to remember that.
