I've always be enamored with flying. I've always dreamed of getting a ride on a fighter plane. To date, I've only flown on U.S. Air Force UH-1N "Huey" helicopters, commercial jets and a Piper Cub.

I've never really been a fan of the B-52, simply because it seems like a big jumbo jet. Of course, reading Dale Brown's "Flight of the Old Dog" many years ago changed my view slightly -- even if it is fiction.

But it looks like the B-52 is going to be around for quite awhile, and the airplane is intriguing, as you can see here.
