Software recommendation

When I got sacked at the Union-Tribune a little over a year ago, a Hoystory reader who works for ESET told me about some copywriting jobs available there and gave me a free, 1-year subscription to the company’s anti-virus software.

When the year was up, I renewed the subscription.

I’ve used Norton (now Symantec), AVG and McAfee, and ESET is better than any of them. (McAfee’s the worst – click here to see why.)

ESET is offering a free month of service for me – and you, dear reader – along with an entry in a drawing for tech goodies for everyone who purchases their software. So, if your anti-virus protection is about to expire or you’re looking for a different, better product, then click here and do both yourself and yours truly a favor.
