Making sacrifices

Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards told the Concord Monitor that as president he will solve all America's problems -- real and perceived.

"I think if we want to fund the things that I think are important to share in prosperity, then people who have done well in this country, including me, have more of a responsibility to give back," he said. Later, he added: "There are no free meals."

In a desire to lead by example, Edwards has promised to sacrifice the broom closet highlighted in bright green in his new house.
