Obamaniacs' worldview

Far too many Obama supporters see him as some sort of saint. This causes them to say some really ridiculous things. Former counter-terrorism chief Richard Clarke, who famously tossed his credibility in the dustbin to ally himself with the Democrats had this to say about Al Qaeda No. 2 Ayman Al-Zawahiri's missive on the president-elect:

The "election has taken the wind out of al-Qaida's sails in much of the Islamic world," said Richard Clarke, "because it demonstrates America's renewed commitment to multiculturalism, human rights and international law."

Clarke, a former senior counter-terrorism official who worked in both the Clinton and Bush White Houses and is considered a possible member of Obama's national security team, added, "By returning to American values the world admires, Obama sets al-Qaida back enormously in the battle of ideas, the ideological struggle that determines whether al-Qaida will continue to have significant support in the Islamic world."

Yeah, al Qaeda has often lost foot soldiers to soaring rhetoric and laser-guided bombs, but mostly laser-guided bombs.

You seriously have to be suffering from a severe case of rectal-cranial impaction to believe that it's Obama's election that has decimated al Qaeda rather than their embarrassing defeat in Iraq and the Bush administration's full court press against their funding sources across the world.

  1. Clarke states that Obama, by returning to American values the world admires, he sets al-Qaida back enormously in the battle of ideas, the ideological struggle that determines whether al-Qaida will continue to have significant support in the Islamic world. What are these "values" that Obama talks about? His support of gay rights and abortion up to and including the ninth month? These are his values, not most Americans. He and his liberal, left-wing illuminatis are disgusting socialists through and through. He's done absolutely nothing to help defeat al-Qaeda. And when Clarke and Obama speak about human rights, I wonder if they'll even give a minor thought to the infants that will be killed due to their acceptance of abortion.
