did you read how the fifteen year old girl would often be the only person at the clinic, giving patients drug cocktails read from a cheat sheet to keep them sedated, in many cases the women delivering while unconscious?

killing a baby at 34 weeks?

the most astounding part is all the culpable state employees who should have caught this based on a number of incidents, despite the fact that the report concluded the system made it nearly impossible to file any sort of official complaint about an abortion clinic...

I definitely agree with you on all of these points! So disappointing when Obama was voted in again, especially as a college student when all my peers are so blinded by his appeal to all the freedoms they want for themselves.

How do you think the Republican party can step it up for the next election? Because to be honest the last few candidates haven't exactly been great opponents either. Romney vs Obama didn't spark any excitement for either win.

Although I do agree that sometimes the pressure for America to be equal in rights goes too far and in some ways the over thinking about equality makes us unequal. I also think that this is an important step for women in the military. Although the statistics on women is striking. It is also important to realize that not all women are built the same and some have great physical qualities. They will still have to train and prove themselves worthy to be able to get these elite positions.

Yes, my response would be to exclude women from combat.

The purpose of the military is not equality. The purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. According to men and women who've served in the military, women in combat units do not improve a combat unit's performance either physically or psychologically.

Life is not fair. Women don't belong in combat and I certainly don't belong on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition, no matter how much I work at it to look good in a thong.

I like how you laid out your response in this one, in addition to the other post. I found the article you linked highly interesting. So the solution then would be to simply exclude women from combat? What would your response be then to women who want to join and who are gunning (pardon the pun) for equality? Would it simply be equality in some circumstances, but not all?

Yes, that's fallacious. Feel free to search the site for "static scoring" and I'm sure you'll see some posts where I've addressed the idea.

It's something I've gotten into before, but in this situation I was merely interested in holding them to even their own flawed assumptions.
