Not serious

The Washington Post is reporting that President Obama “has decided not to endorse his deficit commission's recommendation to raise the retirement age, and otherwise reduce Social Security benefits, in Tuesday's State of the Union address, cheering liberals and drawing a stark line between the White House and key Republicans in Congress. “

This would be good news, if Obama were instead to fess up to the current lie that Social Security will always pay the promised benefits and will always be there for all Americans.

Since the likelihood of that amount of candor from Washington, D.C., is sufficiently improbable. Now is the time to once again ask you how that “hopey changey” thing is going for you?

On a related note: Are the spinmeisters in the White House purposefully trying to rile up those secret Muslim conspiracies again?

To create more jobs and thereby strengthen the economy, White House advisers say President Obama will propose five "pillars". They are:
•  Innovation;
•  Education;
•  Infrastructure;
•  Deficit Reduction; and
•  Reforming Government.
